The 504 Club is dLCV's monthly giving program.
What is the 504 Club?
The 504 club is a tax-deductible monthly giving program established by the disAbility Law Center of Virginia in order to raise funding to support our programs for Virginians with disabilities.
Why 504?
Enacted on September 26th, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 was one of the first U.S. federal civil rights laws offering protections for people with disabilities. In celebration of this historic event, we decided to relaunch our 504 Club on September 26th of 2023!
How does my donation help?
The need for advocacy supports for Virginians with disabilities is growing all the time, while available Federal funds remain level. Your donation supports the important services we provide to our community and positions us to better match this growing demand. Donations also allow us to engage in systemic advocacy within the Virginia General Assembly.
Because changing laws can change lives.
What benefits are there to becoming a member?
Our club has two levels of financial commitment. For their donation of $50.40 per month, 504 Club Premium Members will receive a 504 Club t-shirt, a 504 Club bumper sticker, and an invitation to a donor recognition event. For their donation of $5.04 per month, 504 Club members will receive a 504 Club bumper sticker.
With your support, we can continue to advocate for systemic changes to Virginia's Special Education resources and services!
Your gift helps us to educate and train Virginians with disabilities all over the Commonwealth to self-advocate for their rights!
Your support allows us to monitor polling sites during elections to ensure accessibility!
